It works like this. If you got the wrong thing and it’s our fault, let us know within 90 days by submitting a report request up at the top and when we get it we’ll apologize about a million times and then ship the correct thing to you as fast as we can, along with a paid return shipping label.
If you got the wrong thing because you accidentally ordered the wrong thing or size, we’ll be happy to send an exchange within 90 days, but shipping’s on you. Please follow these steps carefully:
- Print your receipt or order confirmation or write a note of what you want us to do. Be sure to include your order number with this.
- Pay reshipping/stocking fee. This is the same as your original shipping cost (Or if you're exchanging one item out of many it is $4 USD if you're in Canada, or $6 USD for anywhere else in the world. Add $1.50 USD for each additional shirt up to, but not exceeding your original shipping costs). You can find out how much your shipping costs by looking at your original order, or by asking us by filling out a support ticket! The fee can be paid with money order, or by going here.
- Put the order information, what you're exchanging it for (please specify whether you want a unisex or women's cut), payment (or receipt), and item(s) you’re exchanging into a package and send it to:

MAKE SURE YOU GET TRACKING INFORMATION! THIS IS CRUCIAL TO THE NEXT PART!
Send us another email letting us know what sizes you need instead, which payment method you've chosen, and the tracking number for the package you've just sent.
We'll send out your new shirts as soon as we get that email (provided everything is in stock), and keep an eye out for the shirts that are coming back to us.
- Please be patient when dealing with exchanges. Since it’s not an automated system and our stock varies constantly, it may take a few weeks to sort out, which is why we strongly encourage checking size charts (topatoco.com/sizes/) and/or shirts you already own and getting it right the first time!
Please note that we cannot accept back items that have been washed or worn, nor can we make any refunds or exchanges after 90 days from the ship date.
